Rack-to-dock decommissioning: serialized asset capture, de-installation, certified data destruction, and remarketing of the recoverable gear — with the resale value offsetting, sometimes exceeding, the service cost. Chain of custody runs from the first touch at the rack to the settlement report. The process
- Scoping call + manifest review (rack elevations or asset lists welcome).
- On-site: serialized intake of every asset, photographed at the rack.
- NIST 800-88 destruction for every drive, certificate per serial.
- Recovery-value settlement against the manifest, line by line; paid by ACH or wire within two business days of inspection.
