Built by the person who runs the bench.

SellUsedRAM is an operator-run buyback service, originally founded in Massachusetts in 2020 and now based in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. We built it to give individuals and businesses the fair used-component prices the industry normally reserves for pallet-scale procurement, and to publish those prices out loud.

From the founder

I have been in this industry for fifteen years. I built SellUsedRAM to bring a fair marketplace to anyone reselling their hardware, whether that is a data center decommission, end-of-life servers, an upgrade cycle, or a single drawer of pulls. Send the list, get a real number, get paid. That is the whole idea.

What we do

We buy used server and desktop memory, enterprise SSDs, CPUs, network cards, and boards from individuals, homelabs, and businesses. Every inbound lot is serial-logged and screened at intake. Spec gets checked against the label, date codes get clustered, and serials get checked for duplicates on every single lot. Storage resells only with its real SMART history, never off a seller's screenshot. We pay within 48 hours of inspection, and we resell through wholesale channels, which is exactly why we can pay what the index shows.

The company behind the brand

SellUsedRAM.com is the consumer buyback brand of Atlas ITAD LLC, a Rhode Island IT asset disposition company. The operation behind it has been trading server hardware since 2020, originally out of Massachusetts; Atlas ITAD LLC was incorporated in Rhode Island in 2026 as the business grew. Atlas carries the wholesale relationships and the business desk; SellUsedRAM carries the index and the mail-in desk. One team, one bench, two front doors.
